Aims

Acting to promote the development of molecular medicine in Poland SMM has the following aims:

1. Postgraduate training for university graduates, especially for physicians, and pharmacists, biologists and biotechnologists working in medical fields (SMM students) who simultaneously work on a PhD dissertation in molecular medicine.
2. Preparation of young scientists for training medical students in the fields of medical molecular genetics and molecular biology.
3. Stimulation of scientific research in the field of molecular medicine, action to improve its quality and application of modern methods and introduction of their achievements into clinical practice.
4. Integration of Polish and foreign scientific research and clinical centers active in the field of molecular medicine.
5. Popularization of the achievements of molecular medicine.

SMM attains these goals by organizing doctoral courses, training, internships and scientific symposia.
